Promises made and it's only the 2nd November
In our eager excitement we make pledges, we readily agree to an idea, to a concept and to a promise. This time around the Neymai sisters group are meeting for a Christmas toast at a time and date yet to be finalized. We have set the the color scheme for our dress, our Santa hats and fancy hat will be adorned and so too will we dangle our novelty Christmas ear-ring in our ear lobe.
"Wait! what if we don't receive the packages in the mail on time for Christmas!" chimes my sister.
"Oh! it will arrive, have faith" I replied
We will hold long stemmed glasses in hand, dressed according to the Christmas theme and toast each other, it's going to be a virtual toast. My sisters and I are geographically challenged, living in different continents, me in USA, both my sisters in Asia but in different states. Still we are making this fun filled; despite a pandemic that has put a damper to everyone's celebration.
We are not going to lament, but continue to enjoy the magic of Christmas as best we can and get creative with our celebrations.
Than comes the diet dilemma, age is not on my side, however wanting to look good and more because my second name is 'vain', I will make every effort to shed some weight.
The three of us, so happy, so carefree in our chats. At times someone will bring forth a ridiculous but fun subject or stuff to share in the group. The camaraderie and the hilarious comments only seals the fact that we are very comfortable with sharing our space and most of all speaking our thought with no fear of judgement or ill feelings.
Yes, we have made lots of detours to get where we are now. We care for each other and most of all we love each other.
To my two sister witches, gila heads and joy of my heart..... cheers and Merry Christmas!
God bless to one and all.
