Anthonisamy Savarimuthu passed away 29th January 2017

Woke up to the news of Tony's demise, Lilian sent me a copy of the obituary. It's sad, that Tony passed away with out the reconciliation of  his in laws. I know in my heart that each of us have forgiven our past transgressions with Tony and all of us have prayed for Tony's well being.

I grieve for my sister Penny, who is now widowed, but, I trust that she will have peace in her heart. God is good.

Be at peace Tony, go in the friendship and grace of God.

Thank you for your kindness in allowing me to stay in your home for a while before my marriage to Ken. Thank you for your kindness to Ken and especially having empathy for Ivan.

Rest in peace, Tony.

Chinese New Year: Fire Rooster (28th Jan 2017)

Without counting the days, the dawn of the New Year sails in; the Fire Rooster will rule the 2017. It will be another 60 years for the Fire Rooster to herald in another year. For now, all the 1957ners will be celebrating our auspicious 60 year birthdays.

Sixty this year, it's been with disbelief that I enter my 60th year birthday.  Where has the time gone, is the age old adage.

On the radio I hear Amy Grant, .... sometime I wonder why we can be unkind, questioning our intentions..."that's what love is for... to help us through it, melt our defenses"

Was getting emotional thinking that as the sixties roll in, have to live each day like it's the last, am on the path to preparing for the final journey, tomorrow may not be!!!
