Saw you in my dreams ....

In the early hours of the morning I slipped into slumber, my spirit is back in the house in Klang.  I was in conversation with Michelle, enquiring about their forth coming trip to Africa.  As I looked out the window I see Ken or was it a gardener planting seeds in the brown patches in the lawn, amazingly the seeds sprouted as they were being watered, than snow began to fall. A vegetable lorry was passing by, I looked and there you were Ivan, seated at the back of the lorry with a newspaper hat on your head, a fleeting message was delivered to my heart that you were in an accident.  I ran out calling your name, you looked up, saw me and jumped out of the lorry with a smile on your face in recognition.  I started crying while holding on to you , they were tears of joy at seeing you, than you started crying also.  Ivan, you asked me why I had not called to inform you that I was around, and I replied that I had just arrived, than you asked me, "are you coming next year Barber, are you coming next year?" I did not reply because I wanted to savour that precious moment we had together, I wanted to enjoy the moment and not think about next year.  Just wanted you to enjoy the moment with me.  I asked you to stay and you replied that you had to help your friend and you would return around 7pm when the work was done.

Than I woke up and my tears started flowing ...... "I love you Ivan, I miss you so much"  "Yes, Ivan boy, I will go to Malaysia next year.  Yes, I van I will visit your resting place and stay a while with you.

Be at peace Ivan, I will always love you, I will always think of you and I will miss you for the rest of my life my dearest Ivan boy.

One Year Today

It's been a year since Irven George Gomes @ Mohd Taufik passed away.  Family and friends have moved on in life.  It is unsettling how this day is being observed without much drama.

Dear Ivan, how I miss you, I know you are in a better place.  I am happy for you, even though thought of you fill my heart and mind, today I am at peace.  Is it because I have accepted that you are now free from your pain and suffering, free from all your despair.

I care, Ivan, I love you Ivan and I miss you so much.

Be happy Ivan ..... be at peace.

Always you will remain my beloved brother Ivan.  Until we meet again, be at peace my dearest Ivan.
