Rattling at my window....................

She rattles by my window to gain my attention that she's passing through ..... I lift my head, acknowledge her while looking out the window .... I do not see her but witness her presence in the leaves billowing and the sound of her gushing forth ...... I thank her for up righting my porch swing and bid her hello ..... she's my friend the wind ......windy girl!

She is responsible for the rustling of the trees in a sweet symphony, a melodious and soothing symphony for my soul. Thank you windy girl ..... it's a little cooler outside today with the strong gust of wind, the wintry sky and the knowledge that we will be getting our first snow fall of the season probably next week.

Another winter season .... one more changing of the seasons .... I thank God for allowing me this pleasurable experience.

It will be Thanksgiving next Thursday and I have lots of reasons to give thanks. I am thankful for the life I live .... I am thankful for my spouse ..... family ..... friends ...... extended family and especially for people who strongly oppose me, because these are the people who allow me to grow and to look outside of myself and to evolve ....... to let go when I am not in control and to just enjoy and to live ..... to accept in the most difficult of circumstances ..... to allow God to take over and to just do the best I can ......

This will be the first year that I will be cooking a Thanksgiving turkey at the home of our dearest friends. It will be good ..... it will be a great day that we will share with friends whom we are thankful for having .... Happy Thanksgiving everyone ...... thank you ...... thank you .... thank you!
