Malaysia in my heart ....
Locked in my heart and on the surface of my brain are the memories of six glorious weeks of wonderful experiences with family and friends during my visit from September 23 to November 5, 2009.
Wishing I could spend Christmas back home, but, someday soon I will.
For now, I smile remembering all the funny, crazy antics. The eating and the laughing and more eating.
Kudos to my brother Charles for winning all my money during mahjong and jin rummy. We will have a rematch on my next visit. Until than keep the mahjong free of dust and polish the jin rummy set once in a while. By the way, I do hope you are reading the Daily Devotions.
Thank you to my lovely god daughter for the wonderful gift and the heart warming poem, dear girlie Chelle, my heart smiles whenever I reread the "Ode to Godma", thank you too for sharing so much of yourself. I really enjoyed being in your company my dearest honey.
Dearest Matthew, how can I thank you enough for allowing me the use of your room and bathroom, and my apologies again for mistakingly taking your toothbrush to Malacca with me. I do hope your aura is much better and brighter now with all the cleansing I performed. Otherwise I will just have to chanel more positive energy your way. Thanks again sweetheart!
Hong Kong was a blast especially the Magical Philhair at Hong Kong Disney, with my brother Ivan laughing out loud and shouting at his first 3-D experience .... it's funny seeing him reach out and trying to catch the items floating in front of him ..... funny, funny man!!
My family were a great help at the airport sorting out my clothes between the two pieces of luggage ensuring the even balances in the weight, yes, I was so over, beyond over the weight limit. The guys at Singapore Air counter were very pleasant and helpful through it all. Finally my baggage were tagged "priority" while I travelled economy.
Lilian, my dearest sister, was appalled at my antis, I can still hear her repeating, "I have seen people opening their luggage and doing what it takes to meet the weight limit, and I use to laugh at them, and here my dorky sister is doing the same thing!!!" ..... well my dear, the next time no more lugging unnecessary junk. That is a promise I will dearly keep. I am so very tired of the anxiety and the stress ...... so we are travelling light from here onwards.
Thanks dearest sister for everything, the sharing of your home and the kind and warm hospitality. Thank you for treating me to the "Breast Cancer Awareness" gala ..... thank you for all the makan-makan and my weight gain. Thanks for all the laughter and the memories.
What a memorable holiday .... let's do it again folks!!
Love you guys.
