Flock of geese
Looking out the window from the den, I see a flock of geese in our front yard feeding on the grass. At least 30 of them, yes, I counted, it's a rare sight .... geese feeding in your front lawn.
The air is cooler this morning, a reminder that autumn is just around the corner, in two weeks we will experience once again the beautiful colours of autumn. I will miss the initial change as I take my leave for Malaysia, to spend time with family and friends.
The last two days, have been busy, cooking meals for my wonderful Ken and freezing them for his consumption. The container is labeled and the heating instruction is also included.
I will miss this funny man. I pray that God keeps Ken healthy and safe.
Across the globe my family are waiting with excitement for my arrival. It will be six weeks of relaxation, although I have made all this plans in my head for a cook out. I have planned to cook all the dishes ..... now that my beloved Enyak is not able to prepare anymore dishes ..... I have to cook my own meals.
It will be good to spend time with family and friends, catching up, drinking teh tarik at the stalls, laughing at all the silliness, reminiscing and just enjoying their company.
I look out the window and the geese have all gone. Just like that, they are no where to be seen. Strange.....in an instant change takes place and I acknowledge it and continue with my typing...
